I once asked someone if he had a twitter account. He responded that he saw no need to let people know what he was having for dinner or breakfast. Neither do I but I have a twitter account and it’s making me money. Nobody knows what I had for dinner or breakfast,nor do I care to let them know. If I ever post what I had for dinner it will probably be a link which will make me money. And thats what twitter is all about for me. That's why alot of company's use twitter for.

 Setting up an account is easy. Here’s how...

This is how the home page of twitter looks like. You need to give a full name, email and password. You can choose to fill in your own name or make something up. I.e. Britney Aguillera, Christina Spears or Money Questor. For your email you can choose an already exsisting email you have or choose to set up a new one specially for your twitter activities. Fill the information and click the Sign up button.

If the information you filled in is okay everything will be in green and you can press the create account button. Next up twitter gives you a bit help in setting up your account.

You will have the option to search on a certain topic i.e. Money. Twitter generates a list of interesting companies, people to follow based on your search criteria.

After this you can browse categories. If you click on a category you get another list of people and companies to follow. For this account I clicked on business which has 50 suggestions for me.

Next up you can select people you might find interesting to follow. You can also skip these steps, but its always good to follow a few Pro's in the field of your interest.

Next up you can search people from your mail who have a twitter account. And yes also this step is skipable. After this your done and you can start tweeting, following, unfollow and every other thing twitter related.

If you want another account just follow the steps above. So now that we have a twitter account we need an audience. Next up getting an audience.

Making money on the internet is possible and you can make allot if you put enough effort in it, but don't expect to make a huge amount of money if you are not willing to spend time on it. I am not selling anything, there is no catch in the end just straight up information with which you will be able to generate money.  All the information is free and more important based on my own experience. This is not a blog about making millions of dollars with internet. For that you need to have a solid business and that is not what this blog is about. With this it is possible to make hundreds of dollars maybe even thousands but it will all depend on your time and effort.

An overload of information is often something that keeps people from doing and internet is in this way synonymous to information overload. People have this idea about making money online and start reading and reading and even more reading. The more they read the more they doubt if this will work and they get insecure until the determination fades away. For this reason I will start with a quick version.  I will show you how to set it up and later give you more information so you can fine tune it. Just follow the steps and you are making money within a day.  Remember it doesn't have to be perfect before you start you don't need to know all the ins and outs before you start making money.  Just follow the quick guide and learn as you make money. After the quick guide and once you have everything in place I will give a detailed description of each step. Even if you use the quick startup,  the detailed description is a handy guide which attends you on things that you will eventually run into.

There is a lot more to be told but in my opinion it is more about doing. So let’s get started.

Twitter

If you think twitter is about letting everyone know what you had for breakfast or how great your life is think again. Not that it is not right but there is so much more to twitter. But for now, none of those matters I will just show you how easy it is to generate income using twitter. The income you can generate can range from a few cents to +$100 once again depending on the time and effort you put into it.

Here is a quick startup of 5 easy steps.

Step 1  Sign up for a twitter account on www.twitter.com (we will talk about multiple accounts later).

Step 2 Start getting followers on twitter. Your followers are the key to making money you’ll need them like a rock star needs fans.

Step 3 Sign up for affiliate programs like Revtwt (We’ll talk about other affiliate programs later)

Step 4 Sign up for a PayPal account on which to cash in your earnings. More about earnings in the detailed version.

Step 5 Start posting advertisements via your  Revtwt  account to your twitter account. More about the rules of posting in the detailed version.

That’s it.

How does it works?

It’s possible to automate this process of posting and thus create an automated income stream but for now let’s focus on getting to know how things work.  The most "common" way to earn money is the pay per click. There are a lot of others but we will skip those from now.

Pay per click works like this; you post a link from your affiliate program in this case  Revtwt  to your twitter account. People click on it and you get paid for every unique click you get. Mostly it is also region based. So for instance if a merchant pays for clicks from USA, you will not get paid for clicks from people outside the USA no matter how many clicks your getting.  We will get into the details about this in the detailed version. The click on the link is enough to earn you money it doesn’t matter what they do afterwards.  If they sign up or not. If they order something from the site or not. None of that matters. So basically the more followers you have the more clicks you "can" get. More clicks is more money. Lesson 1 more followers means more cash.

So how much can you earn?

Now the payment from the pay per click method is not spectacular. Some are $0.05 cents some are higher. The highest I have seen was $0.42 cent. So at this point you might think is this worth the effort for only $0.05 cents or even $0.42 cents? Not if you think in small numbers.  Not if you stick to i.e. 50 followers.  See the potential and think about massive amounts so think in huge numbers. You wont start with huge numbers but put the effort in it and you will get there.

Let’s make a calculation on how much you can earn with $0.05 per click. It's easy to get 100 followers within 1 or 2 days. So let’s start or calculations with 100 followers. I have around 20.000 followers and gathered them within a year. I also started with 0 followers.  Put in the effort and you have +1000 followers fast enough. The way twitter works it is a bit hard to pass the 2000 followers mark(more about this in the detailed version). Now back to our 100 followers.  Let’s start with a real optimistic calculation. Suppose from the 100 followers we get every 100 to click on the posted link. That would earn us 100X $0.05= $5. This for posting a link, which takes less than a minute. Say we do that 4 times a day = $5X4=$20. I would not advice to post more than 4 times a day more about this in the detailed version.

The internet doesn't sleep and has no days of, so we multiply it by 30 days= 30X$20= $600 a month. Now let’s say we have 5 twitter accounts so we multiply it by 5X $600=$3.000. Not bad I would say.  This calculation is not realistic at all but it shows the potential it has.

In reality you are doing okay if from 100 followers you get 1 or 2 to click the link. $0.05(1 click only) X 4(times posting per day) = $0.20 cents a day. Which is 30X$0.20=$6 a month.

For 5 accounts this can be $30 a month. You might wonder why I am using 5 accounts and not 10 or 100 accounts. For me 5 accounts is manageable. If you can manage you can make a account for every niche or multiple accounts for a niche.  How about we automate this and the only thing we have to do is get more followers see the income grow and from time to time write that money over to a PayPal account? You can go from $30 to $3.000 and even more by putting more time and effort and learning from experience. That’s a journey you must do on your own. I can show you the tricks but you need to put the time and effort in it yourself.
